- Notes:
-
- 1. Audio Formats
- Fast Edit supports 16- and 32-bit integer PCM audio
- data. You can open 24-bit packed files and export
- to the 24-bit packed data format, but 24-bit files
- are handled as 32-bit integer data. Some DirectX
- plugin manufacturers do not support 32-bit integer
- audio data. These plugins will not configure in
- Fast Edit if currently set to process 32-bit audio.
-
- 2. DAL CardD Users:
- If you are using Digital Audio Labs' CardD Plus with
- the CardD driver version 3.40, you may experience a
- short glitch at the beginning of playback. If you
- experience this problem, please revert to CardD driver
- version 3.30, available at DAL's web site:
-
- 3. Differences between previous versions and
- Fast Edit 4.0:
- - Lock Waveforms is no longer supported
- - Virtual 4-track playback is no longer supported
- - MIDI-triggered record is no longer supported
